Demist blower - heat?

I have an electric heater / blower which has turned out pretty weak by the time it is split to 2 outlets. I plan to put an in line fan in the tube which will blow with a mighty blow, it just may not be too hot.

The SVA manual says 'if using a hot air blower...' it doesn't say you have to have hot. Will hurricane force tepid do or does it need to be hot air for SVA?
