Where and how

Im looking for ideas of where and how to mount the front number plate on my car.

what and where have you done yours. - photos would be good!

Ideally a sticky one would be best but it takes time to get one of them!

Easy - I don't have one. Kept bashing it so took it off.

I bent a couple of bits of aluminium, bolted them to the bottom of the nosecone and then through the number plate, like this:

The only other way I can think of off the top of my head is a sticker on the top of the nosecone. I have a feeling it's not actually legal but I'd say the chances of getting done for it are slim.

I have a stivky on blank plate you can have - it has been driven over by a Land Rover so not pristine but as you are selling it doesn't matter

also the letters OWU 264 V or something like that - may be of use if you use same letters/numbers, (this was the reg of the donor that one of the previous ownners though would get transeferred).

Bent aluminium brackets as previously although the bolts double up to secure the nose cone.

Plate has been trimmed slightly to fit better (about 30mm of each end)

Sorry about the BIG picture.

mines been trimmed down but the letterings the right size, fixed by spacing off with 15mm copper tube cut at an angle to suit the nose cone and then bolted thru

I trimmed my down but it still has the legal sized border around the lettering (regulations found on DVLA website)

Its then riveted directly to the nosecone
