Does your setup have an external microphone? It doesn't sound too good...

I reckon you need to cover your microphone in wind-proofing foam.

Either that or check the wiring to it. Polarity might be wrong?

Hi Joel,

Sorry mate - should of replied sooner. My HDD recorder gave up every time I pulled out of the pit lane so I have 11 clips of me driving round the paddock ;-(

Shame as I would of caught the EVO that hit the wall 1st thing in the morning (write off).

Pat what type of HDD do you have? My Mustek keeps doing the same....at the time I thought it was just gettin too hot

HDD based recorders won't survive long on a kit car especially if its a BEC with minimal engine damping. I have to use a foam lined box for my Sony DV on a race car but it's OK on my softer Striker.

I use a "zorst" mic from Dogcamsport as it only records loud sound levels for track recording.
