trim for MK front cycle wings

Do the mk front cycle wings need the edge trimming for the sva or has anyone passed at beverley without them being trimmed. Have passed two sva with them trimmed in the past just wondered if i needed to bother this time.

I fitted rubber U trim all around my MK cycle wings for SVA, but have since removed it (in the pursuit of un-sprung weight reduction). IMHO any SVA examiner worth his stuff would consider the wings a fail without edge trim. It's easily removed after the event and if fitted carefully shouldn't cause any damage to the gelcoat etc.
