Tintop MOT question
Is the rear wiper on me estate tintop subject to inspection in the same way that the windscreen wipers are for MOT?
Reason i ask is that my Pug has a special fitting rear blade and its buggered, i just found out its a special fitment and its a main stealer item
only, i have MOT tomorrow and cant get to the main stealer today...........
If its not part of the test then i wont rush to replace it.
Thanks

No, definatly NOT an MOT requirement. I had a dodgy one on a fiesta that only worked in the summer, and the MOT was in November.
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

is there not a rule that if it is fitted to the vehicle then it must work?-
hence in your case and i have done the same in the past-remove it,and it can't be tested.

No , rear wipers are not tested, same as if N/S fog light is fitted it doesn't need to work.
