Does the Speedo have to read in MPH or would a kph only one be OK (if a little bit of a pain)?

I am pretty sure you have to have mph for an MOT so probably for SVA too.

Main speed (ie largest digits) if twin type readings, in the UK need to be MPH. Vica Versa in Europe.

You could change the spacings on the pickups for the speedo so it actually gave you mph, or get a Yellow box

you could also use overlay type stickers. I've seen this done on imported bikes.
You might even get away with just marking 30,40,50,70mph on with tipex?

It would be a bit tricky using the digital read out!

I've had a reply from the seller. It can switch to read in MPH and can connect into the vehicle wiring to power the backlight. It has even got
built in warning lights and a fuel guage....
