Are these mirrors ok?

Do you think these will be ok for sva? They are designed to fit a kwak zx14r.

I would say no.

Rad on the 'hinge' bit looks too small.

The rad on the mirrors look ok. As to the hinge, a bit of sleeving and a couple of zip ties will sort that.
I can't comment on the mirror area as you don't have any measurements, but check sva manual for that.

na, look very nice but not SVA friendly, mirror looks a bit small area wise also. Put some ghastly cheepo ones on for the test and then later fit those.

Sorry to disgree,

the hinge looks the same as the gsxr1000 mirrors, so I doubt that is too sharp, loads of people use those and they aren't an SVA fail.

I say "slap them on" if it fails (and nearly everyone fails first time) then go with temporary cheap ones.

Are these "standard production" mirrors from the Kawasaki factory? surely those can't be too spiky.

Good point on mirror area, no idea.

Matt
