chassis receipt needed
I need a receipt for the steel for my chassis as I have lost mine!!, I require it to submit car for my sva to help prove it is a amateur build!!

Phone the company you got the steel from and ask - they may be able to do you a copy
or
Get a basic till recipet and use that
or
Buy a Reciept book and fill it in and then give that to the bloke. (just don;t use page 1)
or Get a with compliments slip from then scan this and create a letter head and make up you own.

While we're on this subject.....what have people done when buying stuff off Fleabay? Just print out the invoice thing??

I took a Huge Wedge of reciepts in for my Viento to the DVLA when registering. Everything had a reciept (95% anyway).
All they wanted was the chassis, body, Engine, gearbox, and axles.
Its all about reducing stolen cars and parts being used.
I cant see how it makes any difference, as they are not going to try to trace it all.
Still.... have recepits for all the major Components.
Too many is better than not enough.
EDIT:
Oh... and they take Photo Copies of the major reciepts for teh file so make sure they are correct.

why dont you.....make it up.
if you brought it legit, and you just lost the receipt - make a new one in Word.
