Fog light question
Does the fog light have to go out when high beam comes on for sva???

not seen that in SVA manual.
it mentions angle of lamp surface, having a tell-tale when fog lamp is on and not being operated by a brake control.
I think generally most people (and production cars) have the fog come on only when the side lamps are on?

do you mean front fogs?
if front's i don't suppose it matters, because you shouldn't have high beam on if anyone's in front of you, so it
doesn't matter if its too bright surely?
if rear, why would you want the rear fog to go off when you put high beam on?

Thought it was like that on production cars
(going to check as we speak)
Forget all i said as i am officially a numpty
(Neither of my cars rear fog goes out on high beam)

Rear fog only working with dip WAS the way it was done on tintops. Now its more likely to work on both.
SVA doesn't specify. Mine is dip and main (I think)

Dont think it matters as long as it works. Also when its on you need the switch to light up and warn that its on
Strangely though my fog light fell off on the way back from the test centre (and the number plate light, oh and the rear view mirror and
the.............)
