Fog light
Understand that the minimum height to the fog is 250mm. Is this to the CL of the light or the lowest point of it?
Ta!
If its broke, fix it. If it aint broke, take it apart and find out how it works!

I'm going by this, so would believe it to be the lowest bit LINKY
Don't forget it gets tested with a full tank and you inside it, my seems to go substantially lower with me in it for some reason

One more question springs to mind, Im sure Ive read somewhere about the light has to be vertical? If this is the case, how vertical? ie are there
tolerances?

Vertical is straight up and down not inclined at all in any shape or form in any way Does this explain it???(sarcasm)
In reality the examiner will want to see that the fog light does not point up, or down, and in that respect I'm going to fit one of those with
the swivel bracket. Then it can be positioned to suit his remarks on the day. You should be able to make a judgement by yourself if your fitting it on
the rear panel and the light is a surface mount it'll need to be packed out at the top to suit I'm afraid.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

sarcasm read and understood!
I am mounting it on the centre line of the tub and have indeed taken a huge amount of the bottom of the mounting ring to get it more vertical. So I
guess what Im hinting at is is there any tolerance? At the moment the light is probably 3-4 degrees of vertical, ie pointing upward very slightly. If
I get in the car though and load the rear suspension then this offset obviously reduces as the rear of the car squats.

Mine is mounted inset at an angle into the slopeing rear panel and is virticle-ish (maybe 5-10 degrees skyward) the tester just sort of
"caressed" it a bit and didn't say a thing ....but there again it is very sexy and as the saying goes all the most atractive girls
have minor imperfections!
