SVA passed yesterday!
Although I'm a member of the WSCC I do lurk in here a bit and have found lots of useful info (especially when I need an innovative and
inexpensive solution). So a big thank you to all who've helped me during my build! Its a westfield but with more than a little locost spirit:
Megasquirted MSnSExtra (put together by me)
GSXR TBs on home made (CNC machined) adaptors
Home made engine loom
Home made UJ'd MT75 remote linkage
Lots of scrap yard time sourcing parts.
Oh and I made my own ali gear knob on Monday... thought the M10 thread alone might fail 
Got through test with only a loose bolt to tighten (M/C  ) and a zip tie to replace on the suspension covers. Sound test was close though at 101db @
3750rpm - not a patch on what it sounds like at at 6500rpm though 
DVLA inspection sorted at Bristol same day without an appointment as I begged that I had the car there and would have to trailer to get it back
another day. Coincidently Wednesday is the only day they can do this (I may have heard on the grape vine ).
