sva/koso dash

if i was to make a clamp for round the steering columb and mount the koso dash, onto that, behind the wheel, so i can see it though the spokes in the wheel, rather than chopping a hole in the scuttle would that keep mr sva happy, obviously it woudn't be a long term soloution but if it'll pass it means i can have a drive or 2 then choose were i want it, and mount it however, and wherever i want it

Should be fine as within the exempt area.

depends how large your wheel is as they can get funny about it being obscured by spokes etc otherwise as said it's in the exempt area.

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
