Now the butterflies start....

Well after asking for photographic evidence of the build (didn't take any - photos for posterity mean less build-time) and provide major receipts (sent 40 A4 sheets double-sided photocopies of all receipts) had a phone-call from Southampton asking if I could make next Tuesday! Bit too soon so it's going to be next Thursday.
Watch this space....
Cheers, Pewe

I was more excited than nervous. If you've booked it you must feel ready for it so look forward to it and think about how close you are to being OTR.

My test and re-test were at Southampton. I had a guy called Mark for both inspections and he was excellent. He took the time to explain what he was going to test and what he was looking for and was more than happy to answer any questions I had.

Best of luck

Thanks, guys.
In fact it was Mark who rang me - sounded like an OK bloke.

Dan, seems as if the holidays are reducing their work-load and I suspect the credit crunch means fewer goods vehicles being used/tested.
Mine actually went off last Thursday, letter on Frid asking for more details which went off the same day - so realistically about 10 working days currently for Southampton.
BOL with yours, where is it?
Cheers, Pewe .

Good luck Pewe, but it's not as bad as you might think. I was a bit nervous but I really enjoyed the day.
