Amateur Build Declaration Form

Finally got round to downloading SVA application forms (SVA1 July 2008).
Reading section on 'class of vehicle' it states that I need to download an 'Amateur Build Declaration' form from the www.direct.gov.co.uk website.
However, having done numerous searches, can't find it listed anywhere. Does anybody who's v.recently applied for SVA possibly hae a link to said form?

I sent my SVA application off with a photo build diary, the ABD came back in the post from DVLA... twice!

Just send your SVA1 off and they probably send you one.

If you bought a part built car (Section 1, option 4), would you declare it, and what difference would it make?

Mine was part-built. Unless you have receipts for chassis steel I would be inclined to declare it as bought part-built.
Mine was declared as a chassis with rear axle fitted and some of the other major components supplied for me to fit. Included all receipts with my application and a list detailing each job undertaken and where the source was i.e. came with chassis, third party or donor vehicle eg engine, gearbox, steering rack were all bought from third parties or came off the donor.
Pics as you built it would help. In my case didn't take any as taking pics meant less build time!
So far been through SVA - need to re-test on certain points but no queries as to whether it was part-built or not but the original receipt did say part-built.
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe

Thanks for replies and link.
I'e also rung them to send one just in case there's an updated version.
Think I'm going to have to declare it as being part-built by original owner. (I have all original receipts/invoices for kit from Tiger but, obviously, they're in previous owner's name.) I do however, have plenty of photos to show that I have done the majority of the build (it was just a rolling chassis when I bought it.)
Just a little concerned, as I believe I read an earlier post whereby a member was refused an SVA test because his car had been part-built when he bought it?
