got some metal tube, fliled the corners round on two nuts and pressed them into the ends of the tube using my workmate as a large vice.
Screw your indicator into one end and attach the other to the car using a bolt which you drill a hole through along it's length (not a difficult
as i though) just make sure you check the thread type on the indicator and use a nut to match (guess how I worked that out )
Hope that helps

I made mine using 15mm copper pipe, 20mm round plastic conduit, carbon fibre effect self adhesive film and some nuts and bolts.
method
tap brass nuts of the correct size into the ends of the copper tube with a hammer. solder the nuts in place. Slide the plastic conduit over the top.
It should be a snug fit. Wrap the film round the plastic.
Drill a hole down the M8 mounting bolt that will hold the extension to your nose cone. This is so that the wires will pass down the centre of the
tube. Assemble.
There are pictures in my archive of the result.

Remember the indicators may 'droop' if the extensions are too long/heavy!
I failed my test on this! I'd set the height with no extensions.. then added them later and they were heavy enough to have drooped... so I
failed on indicator height!
Cheers,
James

mine haven't dropped
alternative is to use a single tube - I decided against that due to the extra weight and obstruction to the air path.

I got some indicators from the bike section of Halfords, and have ome thick wall ali tube left over from my gear linkage and just tap the tube with a
thred to match the indicators.
As a bonus, the outer diameter of the tube matches the indicator perfectly. I'm going to get some black heat shrink sleeving to cover it all up
which will make it look a bit more 'permanent' and will also cover any posible edges nicely.
