Soft Boot Cover OK?
Just wondering if the soft boot cover is going to be ok and how these have been fastened to the car,got a load of press studs with the cover but am
sure if the sva was being keen wouldn't pass the sharp edge. Thinking about velcro around the edge but then think he wouldn't pass this
as a permanent fixing.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

I don't think you'll have any problems with either.
soft cover will make it look more finished.
Velcro will be fine, it's not structural and is durable.
Press studs, should not protrude or be excessively sharp anyway.
Besides, I'm sure my tester was happy that anything behing the seat line was exemt, rightly or wrongly!

I like your cover
I agree with above but not too sure about velcro being 'permenent' enough

If you use genuine Velcro ( capital V ) it will be almost permanent anyway The generic hook and loop tape sold in haberdashers is not as strong. I
have some old army tent sections with real Velcro fastenings and they are really solid when stuck together. A car boot lid is not permanent as it
opens.

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Ours passed fine with the fixings that you can get from most Kit Car Suppliers, ours were from Car Builder Solutions.

so under the lid won't be examined, however sharp the edges are inside?

Correct, not interested in sharpness
