mad-butcher - 22/4/09 at 11:32 AM

Monies tight
and times are hard
there going on my credit card
can't wait
being made by offroaddevelopments aka wozsher
£130 all in spacers etc
I'm happy with that
Due back at work tonight for another 6 nights delivering newspapers to shops, but when the postman knocks I feel a sickday coming on.
Transit balljoint has been moved back 16mm so should I believe give 6deg what ever it's called

price?

blakep82 - 22/4/09 at 11:48 AM

nothing wrong with that they're essential items

had you spent a fortune on something like a dry sump kit when you have a perfectly in order wet sump, then you'd have to justify it

nick205 - 22/4/09 at 12:01 PM

They look the dingly danglies don't they

Keep us posted on fitting and set-up and how they change the handling Tony.

melly-g - 22/4/09 at 12:07 PM

Where are you getting them from?

mad-butcher - 22/4/09 at 12:13 PM

they are coming from offroaddevelopments aka wozsher

stevec - 22/4/09 at 01:45 PM

Oooooooo! I can feel my next upgrade coming on.

Steve.

nick205 - 22/4/09 at 02:00 PM

I'm assuming they'll drop straight in...?

StevieB - 22/4/09 at 03:58 PM

Nice

Does he doe bottom wishbones too? I need to get my car self centering and I;ve heard the difficulty is due to the bottom wishbones being too far forward, which can be solved using rosejointed suspension and shimming them rearwards in the mounting brackets. Plus they look cool and I want them

mad-butcher - 22/4/09 at 05:11 PM

No.. the self centering issue is the top balljoint (transit) being too far forward, these have the transit joint moved 16mm rearward thus inducing more caster/castor whatever, they also enable camber to be fine tuned instead of to the nearest rotation of the joint.

Might just be the picture but there doesn't appear to be much of an angle on the top tube for the balljoint.

Phil

Top tube has 8 degree angle

greggors84 - 23/4/09 at 05:18 PM

Very interested in these. Let us know how much of a difference it makes.

jabbahutt - 24/4/09 at 07:11 AM

As the rest tony keep us up to date of how the upgrade goes.

I'd be interested in a set of these but would need them chroming. Anyone any idea of somewhere I can get that done.

Is that something Wozsher can get sorted with the order I wonder? If you read this wozsher could you reply with whether chroming is possible and a price if it is?
