Need a set of springs and shocks for my indy project.
Which to choose?
Cheers
Mark
I'd vote Gaz because of superior customer service. Protech never returned emails. That said, I have Protech with Gaz springs.
I'd say protech because they're nicer. No, they don't really do email but they're good on the phone and sold me exactly what I
wanted.
Also, you can change the springs without any special tools. when unloaded, the spring seats unscrew and slide off, so that the springs can just be
lifted off. Handy if you want to experiment with different settings.
I voted GAZ as it is a shorter name hence the branding sticker will be lighter helping you to a better bhp/tonne figure!
Sorry it's not that helpful.
Protech as they're aluminium, thus lots lighter.

Protech are the better damper of the two.
I've heard of a few Gaz failures, but only know of one failure of one Protech.
Pat...
Protech. Superb customer service and extremely helpful/knowledgeable. And they're lighter.

Protech! Being a poor grasser who couldn't afford Fox or Apache remote resevoir jobbies I used 23" Protech's on the rear of my Class 9 and loved them so it was no contest when choosing shocks for my 7.
