Still no joy re the cv joint covers ! the ones I need are these 45mm cover
These ones are £34.00 each yet the longer ones shown below are only £3.12 each longer version
Has anyone got a set of the 45mm long covers for sale at the right price or know where I can get them any help appreciated

Have you tried any transmission/drive shaft rebuilders. I know I have used a guy in Leed for bit in the past. It may be worth a try.

How about buy the long ones and cut them down ? if there the same size but only longer

Where did you get the longer ones for £3.12, i went to ford yesterday and got quoted £48 for 1 cover + grease + rubber boot ..

My local Ford dealer could get any of the covers and they varied from 2.81 to about 4.30 + vat but the ones I want are 78mm dia and about 45mm tall all of the others are slightly smaller in dia, so there is no chance of cutting them down! I am even considering either making my own or seeing if there is a call for them and het this size made up in china??

think ill try a different ford dealer
