Hi -
My brother-in-law frequently uses his Indyblade for his B-road commute in winter, and has found that the Kumho Ecsta KU33s that he has, while fine on
warm summer days, are lacking in grip on cold winter mornings.
Presumably he would have a lot more grip with softer AO48s or R888s or equivalent, but of course these don't do very well in the wet.
So can someone recommend a tyre that is both soft enough for BEC use in the cold, and has decent grip in the wet?
Cheers,
Nick
These look grippy enough

AO21R certainly looks like what he needs.

Respect !
Proxes are not bad.
They wont get very warm , but you have to be trying to unstick them in the wet on the road and are a good price and wear well

A vote for Proxes from me as well
Kleber used to be the wet weather road tyre for sprinting.
