Hi, im more used to new style bearings that just need a smear of grease usually supplied with the bearings. But with older sierra(stock
rear)/cortina(front alloy hubs) stuff with tapered bearings and grease caps how much grease should i pack them with - just a smear over each roller
bearing and the touching surfaces or as much as i can get in there before the grease cap?
Cheers
Adam
You want no more than 2/3 of the space filled... and don't fill the caps, thats just done by weekend mechanics. Any more and you'll just
spin it out.

But if you don't fill the caps with grease then nobody will know....
