Alley cats?

At first glance they look like Compomotive CX's, but i don't think they did them with that deep a dish, but i'm probably wrong on both counts.

Ugly? tbh

The spoke pattern is alicat, but the centre looks different to me.

Is there any marks on them? Alloys ive had before had makers codes or some marks on them?

Would suit an old school motor, look in very good nick. Shame you only got 2.

very nice.

measure across two of the studs to get the pcd. center to center.

I bought some minilights and was told they where ford they where actually imperial fit for an mg midget.

I like the dish on those

Out of interest if normal 4 stud Ford PCD is 4x108 what is "old" Ford PCD?

scootz - 17/12/08 at 09:22 PM

Not sure, but got to say that I quite like those!

Neither Aleycats nor Compmotive CXs.

Similar style though.

If I thought for a minute those were 4" PCD I would be very tempted.
The A539s too would go well with the identical pair I have down here

They are Appliance X-Wires which were very popular in the '70's and '80's.

Ford PCD has been 4 x 41/4" (4 x 108mm) since 1959 and these wheels don't pre-date that so if they don't fit your Ford hubs then they ain't English Ford.
They might be American Ford,4 x 41/2" (4 x 114mm) as used on some Mustangs amongst others.HTH.
