hi,guys-was expecting to have to shorten or lengthen trackrods on geo metro rack&pinion box to make my mustang 2 spindles have same tread as 1983 corola differential, but they both work out at 55" ! I'm not there yet. still finishing frame structure and trying to figure out how i am going to cover the injector plenum with the "bonnet". can't find rwd exh. manifold. thought i had one bought on ebay, but i had to eat another darn fwd unit. guess i'll take the exh.gasket to a waterjet place and let them cut me a 3/8"plate to stick pipes on

Excellent news. Always nice to know when new parts are being used and confirmed.

Did you ever consider using the Geo Metro uprights with a balljoint adapter bolted on the top? I am thinking that Geo Metro front uprights and steering components would be good donor parts for a locost because they are so light...

Do we have the equivalent in the U.K.? It would be handy if these things were cross referenced somewhere. I have heard of Suzuki being called geo in some countries.

yours, Pete.

The identical Suzuki model is called the Swift here in the US.

Isn't it a pain that the models aren't simply named the same?! a real pisser.
