Hi, does anyone know the socket size for a sierra rear hub nut?(with discs if it makes a difference)
Cheers

46mm and they have opposite threads. They tighten towards the front of the car.

You will need a long lever to undo them....

Off the top of my head 41mm springs to mind. I'll just go and check.

Yep, mine are 41mm. It was originally a drum set up though, so not sure if the disk ones are different?

Mine are discs and they're 41 too.

Mine's a 41mm x 3/4" Draper socket which I had to buy a 1m x 3/4" braker bar for but this didn't provide enough leverage so I went to BSS plumbing supplies and bought a 3m length of steel pipe to go over the breaker bar. Once I'd attached a towing rope between my Sierra donor and own car to stop the Sierra moving with the torque of the breaker, all the nuts came loose without a fuss.

Yes 41mm

Usually a bitch to shift.

I welded a bit of box to a scrap disc and then levered it against a tube inserted in the box section.

It still bent a decent bar in my socket set.
But then I did have a 3metre bit of scaffold on it!

Made it dead easy, and the old disc was scrap anyway!
