looking forward to order some revolution wheels for the future seiw, was thinking 7x15 and 195/50/15 and either 8x15 225/50/15 or 9x15 and Xtra wide arches for rear, extra rear width due the turbo set up,225hp on low boost and about 380hp on max boost, think the 8 or 9 inch will help at the rear traction?
You'll 101 different opinions on this one!
I have my own opinion (not too wide, and high profile, suits the old-fashioned suspension) but many others will pick different widths and offer
perfectly good reasons why their choice is best (and no - I'm not having a go at you, Mr Hicost!
).
In the end, it's whatever suits a person's style of driving, the setup of their car, and the sort of behaviour they want when driving it.

Could be in such a light car that you don't get the tyres up to a good working temperature.
Only way to trully find out is to measure the tyre temps across the width for different tyre sizes.
Cold tyres and 380 bhp don't go round corners the way you want them to.
There is always a change over here in Greece to warm them up for 2 roundns,if not could spin them litlle bit for a quick warm up
Im planning on 185/60 13 and 205/60 13 on 6 and 7.5 inch wide wheels respectively for road use. Not sure how well it will work tho!
You will be drifting all day
cateram r500 runs 175/55/13 on the front and 205/55/13 rears. Seemed to work well enough with 260bhp
R888s are sticker as far as I know too
It will be more than sticky!!!planning on YOKOS but both of them are top tyres!
Im just not sure if its worth going any wider on the rear. I reckon 185 to 225 is a reasonable balance.
225 is enough but on 8or 9 inches?
205 is a misprint on my part, Ill be going for 205 as this is the widest 13 inh tyre toyo do.
For a 205/60 13 they reccommend a 5.5-7.5 inch wheel so Ill be getting 7 or 7.5.
For your 225/50 15s they recommend the same width of wheel. Id reccomend checking with your own tyre manufacturer as to what they see as suitable but
I wouldnt think anything more than 8 would be beneficial

I am leaning on the the 8inch,but any more recomendations will be apreciated!
