Maxi balljoints

I've managed to 'mislay' the nuts belonging to my balljoints.
Can anyone tell me what thread they are, please?

Neil

Have you tried measuring the width of the threaded bit and measuring the teeth density (ie how many inches / mm per teeth). You should be able to then look them up in an engineering book / website.

Trad way of working out teeth density is measure how many threads there are, measure how long the threaded section is and divide one by the other...

Maxi ball joints (as used for the lower front ball joint on MK and others) have 2 off plain holes in the the mounting plate for M8 bolts and nuts.

Like this....

Do you mean the Transit drag links for the upper front ball joint?

I suspect the OP means the Nylock nut in your picture. It's usualy quite a fine thread on most of them, but I suspect it's not standardised as I have seen different manufacturers parts use different threads.
