I don't believe these are metric - M12 is a pretty good fit, anyone know the correct size? (GAZ GP shocks)

1/2" (12.7mm)

If they're not metric and 12mm is a pretty good fit then they must be half inch ie 12.7mm

Thanks - anywhere sensible to buy these? They are about £5 a pair in stainless on ebay!

Try Namrick.....google search will pull it up, good online shop too.

Ah, great looks good - do stainless bolts have the same "8.8" ratings available for the SVA man?

Stainless bolts have a different rating, you won't find any with 8.8 marked on them.

IIRC A2-80 is the closest stainless grade to 8.8, but I don't know if this is acceptable for SVA.

To the best of mk knowledge A4 is the strongest of the commonly available stainless bolt materials. If the SVA calls for 8.8 then you'll need steel bolts. Decent zinc plate (BZP) is reasonably corrosion resistant and does not look too bad.
