prake light switch - pressure type
chris-p-duck - 6/2/09 at 04:26 PM

Hi all,

I am looking to use a pressure brake light switch and I have a concern. I assumed (I know.................. it makes an 'ass out of u and me'!....................) that I was going to fit it directly into a 'T' piece. However it has been suggested that that would not be appropriate and that it would probably leak. So do I need to plumb in a short spur from the 'T' piece and mount the switch at the end of it??

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers Guys

Chris

I mounted it in a T piece and it was fine. So long as you get the right match on the threads there shouldn't be a problem.

i think you will probably find that most people here have plumbed them into a T-Piece... Mine included, and have had no problems with it

Exactly the way big manufacturers did it.

I think people advise to put the switch facing down to stop air getting trapped
