Building s2000 engined MG Midget, the steering rack needs to be 18" to the pivets.
Is there a rack this length or what is the best rack to shorten, any info would be appreciated. jon

could anybody please tell me the lenght from the pivot to pivot & rod end to rod end of an escort steering rack please.

pivot- pivot = 582mm, rods 269mm to ball centre (mk2 escort)
