Ive been pondering the best way to extend my sierra colum to reach my escort mk2 steering rack, im builting a haynes roadster so could just follow the book way of welding a shaft, im just wondering if there is a bolt on solution im loonk at approximately 700 - 800 mm
any thoughts

is that 70 -80 mm or is it reallyalmost ametre?
There are extensions about-fitted to Jago jeeps and others but not sure of the lengthaded I guess it is only about 150 - 200 mm

coming on for a meter it needs to span the length of the engine bay

Im pretty sure B2 (squared) automotive (in Coventry) make longer intermediate shafts. They may supply them to nfauto. not cheap though for what they are.
