Its one with an aluminium casing from a 2.0 DOHC with a possible ratio of 3.92....

Wow! An actual larger than life photo!

Err, it has push-in shafts?

What are you asking? You seem to know everything there is to know about it?

I don't think anyone can tell you the diff' ratio if that's what you want. Chances are it's 3.92 though.

I would make a mark on one of the CV joints, turn the input flange and then see how much the shafts turn... count 'em and see.

Hope that helps,
James

Only thing else to add is that it is an open diff as opposed to a Limited Slip Diff

Does anyone know how easy its going to be to get in into the roadster chassis? And I thought all 7.5" diffs had bolt on shafts?? Hence why I thought it was odd

7" or 7.5" is the size of the crown wheel. If the top mount has a bit of a cutaway in it (so you can see the bolt when it is in situ) then it is probably a 7".

It's a 7 inch diff, none of the 7.5" units had push in driveshafts AFAIK.

My 2l dohc donor had bolt on shafts 3.62

This is what confuses me!!! It has the solid upper mount as per a 7.5" diff, and measures about 7.5", BUT!! it has push in shafts???

I have just found out that some 2L Dohc cars have 3.91 diffs that are 7.5 and push in shafts
if this helps you

And, conveniently, the measurement accross the top mount. This is definately a 7.5" diff.
