I got some rear calipers for an audi A4 last week, the disc was the same diameter as the disc im using. But when i lined it up on the upright the carrier was touching the upright leaving no room for a decent strength bracket to bolt the carrier to.

So are there different carriers for different vehicles? ie are the golf carriers shorter than the ones from the A4?

Have you got any pictures of your setup?

I have foud them to be all the same.

Thats the rear upright, its little different now in the fact the two outer brackets at the bottom are gone and one side has had a bout 10mm taken off it to try and get the carriers in.

I dont have any pictures of the brakes inplace
