Powerlite or Midilite?

Which is best for our type of car???

I fitted Powerlites, Much goodness
Mintex pads.

Why the significant price difference? Also, there is no indication to piston diameter of either (well, on the m16 direct replacements from rally design anyway). Can you select what piston diameter you want at all?

midilites are dust sealed, powerlites are bare.
Midilites are slightly bigger too

Powerlites are lighter and cheaper, midilites have the dust seals and are a little larger.

Any one knows the code for the powerlite mintex pads?

Powerlites are for light cars such as our kitcars and so they assumed the majority won't do that many miles. The midilites will work on tintops and so have the dust seals to match.

I know I wrote it down somewhere! but Rally Design have the Mintex pads in stock for the Powerlites just not online.

Arent the pads which fit in the powerlites the same dimensions as standard M16 pads? They look very close, but I havent measured them to check.
