This might sound like a numpty question, but I am trying to set ride height and camber and toe and thought I'd start with the ride height.
The problem is that I can't seem to alter the height by twiddling with the large adjuster on the protech shocks. I have wound the rears totally
slack and the rear ride height is still 135mm. I was to get 125mm rear and 110mm front (front currently 116mm)
Am I doing it wrong? is there some sort of secret voodoo I'm missing?
BTW sva in 12 days and you don't even want to know how much needs doing!!

If you wound them right off, then basically that is it!
You need shorter springs (if they will fit) or slightly softer ones, so that the car sits slightly compressing them.
One of the advantages of inboard suspension is shortening the pushrods, but that's not much help to you....sorry.

If you havent got adjustable pushrods from your dampers to the suspension you use the spring platform.
What do you mean when you say large adjuster?
If you jack the car up when you do wind the spring platforms off it will be a bit easier but there is still quite a bit of load on them and you will
need a C spanner or punch and hammer if your rough!
Are you setting the ride height with the equivalent weight of the driver in the drivers seat?
Personally, I wouldn't even bother thinking about the ride height, camber, etc until after SVA. Get the essential stuff done first and then you
can play about with ride heights afterwards.

I actually raised mine before SVA as the rear fog light was right on the required height.

all with vehicle unladen.

You really need to set the ride height, camber and toe with the vehicle laden, including driver.
