Drum upgrade from 3L Capri?

Will the wide drums off a 3L/2.8i Capri fit on Sierra rear uprights.

Had these on my MK2 a while ago and they were superb.

With 4 pots going on the front shortly, a bit more than the spindly 8" drums is required I think.

No the back plates won't fit.

9" Sierra Drum or Sierra discs
Increasing the drum width doesn't the brake friction torque it only increases the heat dispersion capacity --- which you don't really need on a Locost as the bigest problem is getting the brakes up to working temperature.

Likewise at the fron't don't expect 4 pot calipers to improve the braking they won't the most effective single braking improvement you can make is fit a smaller bore mastercylinder.

4 pots wont improve the braking? My (standard) Sierra slide calipers are crap.. big heavy things, no feel, stand on the pedal till the fronts lock. I can't feel anything on the back.

The 4 pot upgrade is intended to give me progressive slow up and removing a lot of weight from my (heavy) steering. And my experience of them big drums made me want them again.

Is it XR4i drums I need?
