Track rod end coverings
aka Keith - 11/5/09 at 12:16 PM

On the CBS site, they sell a heat shrink track rod end covering.

I need to replace the track rod ends on my car, but do I need to cover them up , a la CBS, or does it just look better?

The stuff only cost £3, but they want £6 for postage. So

Do you run our car with them covered or not?

Cheers
Craig

I am talking about Post SVA. The car is already on the road.

Just looks 'better' if you like that kind of thing. Cable junction box glands are cheaper and work just as well.

If you really want to cover them up... get some plastic cable glands... they just slide over the rod etc..

tegwin, any particular size I would be looking for?
