
I have a wierd problem with my disc brakes, they are binding when cold in as much as you can be parked on a slope with hand brake off and feet not on
the pedal and the car wont move but after 10 mins of driving they become free.
Now if this was the other way round and they started to bind after being driven i would understand but i have not come across this before.
Please help
Perhaps the hoses have collapsed inside and the oil is to thick when cold to return to the reservoir?
They may also be slackening off cos the brakes are starting to fade from overheating
I’d take the calliper off and check the pistons can be pushed back

Probably the best way to sort it out is find out which wheel(s) are binding as a start. Jack each wheel in turn until you find which. Releasing the bleed nipple may allow the wheels to free off but might be worth parking over night without putting the hand brake on as the problem could be parking brake related? Unlikely to be the hoses on a new build IMHO .

my bluebird at just 27k needed all new calipers and rear slave cylinders due to them continuously seizing (car grinding to a very hot stop). This was caused by it just simply not being used enough even though it spent its whole life in a dry garage too and had its 60k dealer service at 25k! so just cause it in the garage doesn’t mean it won’t seize, btw the rear slave cylinders when I took them apart were in a dreadful mess so I suggest you have a good look at your brakes.
