brake master cylinder question
welderman - 29/5/09 at 01:16 PM

Has been brought to my attention that i might have put the pipes from the master cylinder the wrong way round, but havinf passed SVA im not sure wether to just leave it.

Cylinder has two outlets at the mo ive got the front hole supplying the rear and the back hole supplying the front.

Rear hole being nearest to your foot / pedal when braking.

Opinions please fellas.

If the brakes have passed the SVA requirements, and are in good working order, then why change them?

thats my thought but discs and pads were new and maybe that had an effect on the braking and helped pass SVA.

With most master cylinders it will make NO DIFFERENCE.

Hence; if it's passed SVA I wouldn't fiddle with it

tbh it doesn't make one bid of difference as the piston diameters are identical

just leave it
