Daft Question

Hi All

Is a down link the same as a spindle carrier? Or am I totally confused?

Huge learning curve, two wheels are easier

Thanks
Colin

i think a spindle carrier is part of the upright (where your hub and wheels go) and a downlink is part of the steering collumn?

all depends on individual terminology i guess

That sounds reasonable to me

I have never seen the term "spindle carrier" used on here before and I wondered if I was correct or way off base.
So when we say modified Sierra hub are we talking the whole unit, spindle carrier and all?

Of course someone will answer me in two minutes and tell me I am being stupid

Cheers
Colin

there's also a "drop link" connecting the upright to the anti-roll bar - otherwise known as anti-roll bar links.
