Hi, anyone know where i can get replacement rubbers and the securing wire things for sierra tre's and maxi ball joints?
I have good joints but need new rubbers
i know the new joints arent that expensive but im on a really tight budget and every pound counts
thanks Ray

Why do you need new rubbers?
Damaged them with a splitter? Have they been on a vehicle?

Struggling to think of where you'd get some from.

If they're owt like the TRE's we put on ours, the rubber perishes within days of being fitted. We have to fit a new pair every MOT.

They might be "new" but they were new in the early 80's

Are these the sort of thing you're after rubber boots

If your 7 stands outside most of the year, the sun seems to perish these rubbers very quickly - they certainly need replacing every 1-2 years. Presumably on a Sierra there isn't this problem as they are kept out of the sun by the car body.

We bought some escort ones from a stall at Stoneleigh as we had several new joints that were gaiterless-

as is the custom I haven't a clue what the guys name was but was directed there by the guys from GMS Capri spares from Coxhoe in County Durham
