Hi, this will sound like a real stupid one but i've had a brief look before it started peeing down and can see nothing wrong. After a relaxed
drive last night (no pot holes or bumps) we changed drivers and when i took the wheel it was no longer central when going straight ahead. Its a sierra
rack and coloumn with a quick release boss, any ideas?

Put some small paint marks on all the joints, you will then see where its moving.

check the supsension bolts are all tight.
happened to me after a few miles on the bumpy a roads and had to redo the setup again
a sierra rack mounts with 2 bolts
the mounting holes it the rack are quite large
try loosening and retightening the rack pushed to the left, then to the right
Check your track rods (not the outboard ends, the in board ends, behind the gaiters)
Are you taking your steering wheel on and off, if so are you refitting in the same place.
To clear things up a little the quick release boss only goes in one location. i had paint marks on the upper and lower coloumn and both allign still. I will give suspension and rods a check tonight as they are a bit more hidden -susp inside the nose cone and track rods covered in that sva crap still so cant see the joints.
Might be worth carefully checking your front wishbones for damage and also the lower steering coupling especially the splined part
Have a good look at your rack, chriss's rack (new from ral des) nearly came apart during shake down tests.

If you let go of the wheel does it still go in a straight line? If so then it's the alignment of the wheel itself or that area. Could have knocked the wheel alignment out (at the suspension end) by going over a bump.
Turns out it was the tracking and it was off by miles even though we were on relatively flat roads with susp set to quite a comfortable setting. The
psg wheel has massive toe out which when moving meant the steering was about 30 deg of centre to the right. Everthing was fairly tight but has been
given a 1/4 of a turn here and there. All i can assume at the moment is bedding in process is letting parts settle in and maybe something wasnt
located 100% but a problem with the rack would be a worry.
Cheers
