Do they have an allen headed grubscrew in the single collar to lock it off?

Mark G - 16/7/09 at 09:21 PM

nope, no locking devices. It did concern me when fitting mine but did a search on here and it seems most people think the same and never have any problems. Mine haven't moved since sva 450 miles ago.

the pressure of the spring stops it moving i have to take the weight of the shocks to wind them up

oh, and mine didn't come with a c spanner either. I got mine from them at the exeter show for a fiver.

Hi

However when ordered from a certain supplier they do come with a locking device on the collar if required. And the option of polly bushes if needed. other services for the protechs are also available including dyno testing balancing and fully graphed printouts of the dampers.

Cheers Matt

Good information thanks guys. I have just been reading up on setting suspension hence the query but i have never seen them with 2 collars but thought it was worth a check.
