Hi, im playing with suspension settings at the moment and regarding toe in/out the only adjustment is a whole turn of the track rod assuming wishbones are fixed. Does twisting the steering arm itself wind/unwind the arm at all - is it threaded or just a joint in a socket?

the arm is in a socket joint and will just spin round, twisting the rod does nothing to adjust it. There is a threaded and locked cap that forms the top of the socket and this can be removed for regressing and rod replacement by removing a split pin. Shouldn't really need done if the rubber boot is intact.

I've always adjusted the toe in / out by twisting the link arm rather than removing the track rod end from the steering arm. Just back the locknut off and then adjust to give you the setting you want - winding out to expose the thread gives increased toe out.

Surely you just undo the locknut, wind the track rod in or out of the track rod end and then do up the lock nut again? The inner end is a ball-joint and will just rotate.

as above but make sure you take the boot off the rack body otherwise it damages the boot, also same amounts of adjustment both sides.
