right, buying new tyres for my wheels. currently have 165/70 13 on. the wheels are the ford escort mexico ons, 4 spke jobbies. now what isthe ideal tyre size for these wheels?? its running a rover v8 engine so im guessing i want as wide as possible on the rear, bu how wide is posible on these wheels?? also what width on front??

so basically, what width and profile for front and back?? thanks

Have a look on the rim it should tell you what width it is afaik there were similar looking wheels made in more than 1 width. i've 205's on the back of mine on 6" rims. Check out the website for the type of tyre you want most have a guide size i.e. 5.5-6.5 for yoko A048's
