Hi all
i know there have been probs with these breaking in the past poss the reason they are not sold any more,
i have them on my indy and are making some mods to the front end,
i was wondering if anyone new the locations of were the uprights had broke in the past,????? and why they were pulled from sale,
i must say they do not look like they are the exact geomitry of a sierra std upright,

usually across the top side of the stub axle.
has any one got any pics of these broken etc,
i was thinking of modifying then to re inforce them and re heat treating them
thanks again
I know Marc of MNR strengthened the new design ones as used on the MNR's so may be worth asking him. worth doing a search as there was a pic of a broken one a few months back
If you take a photo of the back of yours, I will amend the photo to show where they've broken in the past and know whether yours are the modified ones or not...
Hi
Some pictures can be found HERE
When they where tested they where given a 700Kg safe working limit. Basically not fit for the purpose of being used on a car IMHO.
