First question: What caliper piston dia did you go for?
Second question: What bore dia master cylinder are you using with them?
Third question: On your setup does it require more or less effort on the brake pedal?
Fouth and final question: Was it worth it?
Many thanks
Tommy
I have powerlites fitted to the GTS, believe they are 38.1mm dia pistons.
Brake effort is about the same as with the cortina calipers, but this would be seriously improved with M1144 pads rather than the smart pads.
I am using the std sierra master cylinder without a servo. I can lock the front brakes without too much effort.
The calipers and discs are miles lighter than the originals even though the discs are a larger diameter.
Was it worth it? Only for looks and weight, theres not much difference in pedal feel or effort.
