Can anyone set me straight, can i put 9 inch cortina drums on the sierra 9 inch assembly i have?
If you build it, they will come....
I mean...
If the bolt pattern matches up, I'm sure you could make it work, but why settle for drums on the rear when you could get yourself some of those
fancy disc brakes?

Im all for S.I.M.P.L.I.C.T.Y
I bought a part built chassis complete with wishbones and rear uprights suitable for drums, and dont want the hassle or cost of having to get new
wishbones made and rear disk uprights made.
Disks would be nice but not essential. I know the stud patern will be the same i am more concerned about the depth of the drum being the same.
Drums = simplicity?
If you really want to stay with drums...
If the uprights were made for drums, then drums will fit (there isn't really all that much difference in drum to drum). If they don't fit,
new longer studs ought not be a problem for price or complexity.

I suspect not --- I seem to remember somebdy doing the opposite -- trying Sierra 9" drum backplates on an Escort axle and they wouldn't fit.
