Help.....Brake Fittings
Bumble - 7/10/09 at 10:12 AM

Hi, I'm after a 90 degree M10 Male / Female Brake fitting. This is to screw directly to my backplates to clear the suspension brackets so I can attach Goodridge Flexi's. Does such a thing exist as I can't find one anywhere.
Thanks.

i did it like this.

I'd thought of doing that but was hoping for the easy option of 90 deg fitting to save welding on another bracket for the bulkhead fitting.

just make a bracket and bolt it on, it's just a drilled hole with a sawn slot, quite easy really

I was in a local engineering place asking for some brake 'T'-pieces yesterday and although he didn't have them he did say he had some metric in-lines and 90 deg elbows. I'm assuming they were female at each end as I didn't actually see them but I guess if you can get male to female adaptors then it can be done?

Only thing is though, the more joints you have, the more opportunies for leaks.

Probably not much help if you already have hoses but I can make hoses with 90 degree ends already swaged on.

Russbost......how much would a couple of hoses be...approx?
Cheers,
Matt

Depends on length unless you had any really odd fittings they would almost certainly be either £14.95ea or £17.90ea P & P is £2.95 to Locosters.
The hoses are absolute top quality stainless steel braid & fittings with a pvc coating either clear or any of about 20 colours - more info on my website www.furorecars.co.uk
Let me know if I can help.
