Hi all, just had email to confirm that there is no speedohealer available for a yzf1000r thunderace engine....so..
Is there anyway to alter the speedo reading after changing sprockets / tyres etc.
Thanks
how about getting the plugs from, say, an R1 loom then wiring them in?
Have a look at my reply to your other post, it may be of help.

If you search my rcent posts it tells you what wires do what on he speedo healer subloom, just splice them into th relevant wire on the bike loom and you are golden. I used a fireblade subloom but couldn't use the connectors etc. Which is essentially the same as you.
All speedo healers are the same, if I understand correctly. Only the connectors are different, to suit the bike. If there isn't one for your specific bike, buy a generic one and splice it directly in.
As above.
sorry guys, should os explained better on the yzf1000r thunderace the speedo is Cable type.
So whats my options to get the speedo correct?
Are there any gps speedos, new speedo with magnetic pickups ect??..
Thanks
Plenty of magetic/inductive pickup ones around - Acewell, Vapor etc. They tend to come as a kit (sensor etc included) but have a feeling that (due to IVA) it should be fitted to a driven wheel or the propshaft?
