Alternative Master Cylinder

Can anyone confirm if the Mk1 non servo Fiesta master cylinder is a direct replacement for a Sierra one?

I don't mind if the holes / pipe ends need fettling, but don't want to upset the brake balance.

Before anyone says do a search I have and can't find the answer

Thanks

Did your swap to the Fiat M/C make a lot of difference?

Stu. Just to reiterate the U2U for any future searches. It isn't a straight swap. The Sierra has to have larger hole in the bulkhead and its mounting holes are orientated differently (one is diagonally, one is horizontally I forget which). Also the Fiesta MC comes with the pushrod already attached (I think held in by a circlip). Fiesta also has 4 outputs where Sierra has 3, I placed a bleed nipple in the other as suggested I think by British Trident.
The pedal travel is a lot diferent. The Sierra used to press all the way but the Fiesta is more solid and doesn't travel much, a lot more solid feel to it.
The swap isn't beyond the realms of Locost mind, I managed it!

Thanks

My brakes are quite good, but need a very firm push. The pedal travel is fine.

I was really looking for a bit less pedal effort and a bit more feel.

I think I'll probably give the swap a go over the winter.

Thanks
